Transcription Rates

Our rates for transcribing a two person interview, talk or lecture start at 95p per minute of recording. Prices vary according to return times, contract size and quality of recording. Transcription at this level is undertaken at Intelligent Verbatim level, which is usually relevant for most academic research purposes. Strict verbatim and other higher levels of transcribing also provided including the Jefferson system. Video subtitling also available. For details of the different levels of transcription please have a read of our guide on our sister site TP Transcription –  http://www.tptranscription.co.uk/services/verbatim-transcription-levels/

Extra Charges

We do not charge extra for regional accents or English 2nd language accents and have specialist transcribers with years of experience transcribing hard-to-hear accents. Various time stamp options are available on request. Our company can assist with transcription work in other languages as well as English. Please contact us with your requirements.

We charge a minimum of 33% extra for Focus Groups or Conference Recordings where there are more than 2 speakers at any time.

Turnaround Times

Our standard turnaround time is 14 working days, but we can provide a Fast Response service as well, with turnaround from the same day to 24-48 hours. Higher prices apply.
